Send Business Centre have kindly offered to sponsor the Send United U16 Galaxy Football team’s new kit. This local team trains just down the road from SBC and are looking forward to the new season to show off their new kit (and of course their impressive football skills.)
The Football club was founded in 1979 by a group of local parents and since then it has grown into a successful club with 9 teams! On the team’s emblem you will find a sword representing justice – the team highly values the importance of fair play. The rest of the emblem consists of peacock feathers bound by a crown which was adopted from the clubs patron Lt Col J W Molyneux-Child, Lord of Dedswell and Papworth who remains an active supporter of the club.
Why not support your local team and head down to watch their home matches at St Bede’s junior school on Bush Lane. This season Galaxy U16s are playing in the Surrey Primary League division 3. Their matches are10am on a Sunday morning – details of these matches can be found here. More information about the club and a gallery of pictures can also be found on their website https://www.sendunitedfc.co.uk
We wish the team the best of luck for the coming season!
